Brandon's Memorial Service
Million Times
A million times we've needed you, A million times we've cried.
If love alone could've saved you, You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place, No one else will ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you, The day God took you home.
Our Little Angel will always be
A precious gift and memory.
Our time's been brief, our hours few,
To make and mould a life that's new.
But through the tears and burdens great
Our prayers for strength will emanate.
A glimmer of hope will show the way
For us to go on from day to day.

Special thank yous...

to Lt. Matthew Stevens, Chaplain,  for his support, intervention and comforting words

to Diana (Chrysti's Great Aunt) for providing her beautiful musical talent

to Sgt. Major Lewis for his special help above and beyond the call of duty

to Glenn, Laurel and Aunt Eleanor (Chrysti's cousins and Aunt) for hosting a lovely reception

to the many friends and family who've said prayers for us, sent cards and flowers, and traveled far to comfort us
When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,

We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.

Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold,

So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few

To make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult,
still somehow we must try
.
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be "Goodbye".

So when a little child departs,
we who are left beind

Must realize God loves children.
Angels are hard to find.
